Critic quote about From the Earth to the Moon
In regards to the wildness imagination and the skillful combination of the possible and the impossible, this may be Verne's best novel. The Prince of the marvolous literature draws on a fact to render a story "instructive while amusing." (http://www.tallett.com/fr312k/PAR308/VERNE/CRIT.HTM)
Critic quote about Journey to the Center of the Earth
The travelers in this cleverly written and ingeniusley worked out narrative, apparently suggested by Poe, " are in the most danger as if theywere traveling in an underground rail road." Verne makes geological records live before our eyes. " In reading we at times forget the utterly impossibillity of the journey the travelers take, and fancy ourselves reading merely the account of ordinary travelers." Critic quote about Around the World in Eighty Days
An unforggettable classic meant for all ages.
